About
Hey, welcome to AIDeskly.
AIDeskly started with a simple frustration. Every time a new AI tool launched, the internet got flooded with shallow listicles, recycled ChatGPT screenshots, and reviews that clearly hadn't actually used the product. We figured someone had to test these things properly and write about them like a real human, not a press release.
That's what this site is. A working desk for people who want to use AI seriously — to get more done, write better, ship faster, or just stop drowning in repetitive work.
What you'll find here
We focus on three things, and we try to do them well:
- AI tool reviews — honest, hands-on takes on the tools that actually matter. No affiliate-driven hype. If a tool is mediocre, we say so.
- Prompt libraries — ready-to-use prompts for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Midjourney. Tested, organized by use case, and copy-paste friendly.
- Productivity workflows — practical guides on combining AI with tools you already use (Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, automation platforms) to actually save hours, not minutes.
If you're a creator, freelancer, marketer, student, or just someone trying to stop wasting your weekends on busywork, you're in the right place.
Who's behind AIDeskly
I'm Riansyah, the writer and editor here. I'm based in Indonesia and I've spent the last few years deep in the weeds of automation, AI workflows, and content tooling — both for my own projects and helping small teams get unstuck.
Most of what gets published here comes from real testing, real screw-ups, and real wins. When I haven't personally used a tool, I'll tell you up front. When something's based on industry data or third-party research, I link to the source. That's it.
How we handle AI in our content
Yes, we sometimes use AI to help with first drafts, outlines, or research summaries — we'd be hypocrites if we didn't. But every article goes through human editing, fact-checking, and a final pass to make sure it's actually useful and accurate. AI is the assistant. The thinking, opinions, and editorial calls are ours.
Our standards
- Accuracy first. Pricing changes, tools shut down, features get added. We update content when we catch outdated info — please tell us if you spot something stale.
- No paid placements disguised as reviews. If a post contains affiliate links or is sponsored, it's clearly marked.
- Reader-friendly, not algorithm-friendly. We write for humans first. Search engines are a bonus.
